Who we are

This website, getdoobi.app, is published by Getdoobi Online Services W.L.L., CR 146856-1, Kingdom of Bahrain. For the data described on this page, we are the data manager, the term the Bahrain Personal Data Protection Law uses for the party responsible for it. You can reach us at info@getdoobi.app.

What this page covers

This policy covers this website only. If your laundry becomes a doobi client, the handling of your business's data, and your customers' data, is governed by the platform agreement, not by this page. The apps we deploy under your brand carry their own privacy terms, set out in that agreement.

What we collect

Three things, and nothing quietly on the side.

The demo form. Your name, your laundry's name, a phone number, your country, your number of branches, and an optional message. Every field is there so the first conversation is a useful one.

Server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider records basic technical logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested, and when. We use them to keep the site running and to investigate faults.

Analytics. We count visits and see which pages get read. We use Plausible, a privacy-first analytics service: it sets no cookies, does not follow you across other websites, and never builds an individual profile of you. All we ever see are aggregate statistics, such as how many people read a page.

Why we collect it

Two reasons.

To respond to your demo request and carry on the conversation you started.

To keep the site working and see what's worth improving.

We use it for nothing else.

The law we work to

We handle personal data under the Bahrain Personal Data Protection Law, Law No. 30 of 2018. In its terms: we process your demo request because you asked us to respond to it, and we keep logs and analytics because we have a legitimate interest in running a secure, working website. Where the law requires your consent, we ask for it first.

Who else touches it

Two providers, both working on our instructions: the service that carries your demo request to our inbox, and the hosting provider that serves the site and holds its logs. [Before publication: name the chosen providers and confirm, against their terms, how each handles this data.]

We do not sell personal data. Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.

How long we keep it

Demo enquiries are kept for as long as it takes to handle them and the conversation that follows. If nothing comes of it, we delete them. Server logs are held by our hosting provider and cleared on its standard schedule. [Before publication: confirm the provider's log retention period and state it here.]

Your rights

The law gives you clear rights over your data. You can:

See it. Ask what we hold about you and get a copy.

Correct it. If something is wrong, we fix it.

Erase it. Ask us to delete it.

Object. Tell us you don't agree with how we are using it.

How to use them

Email info@getdoobi.app. A short message is enough: tell us what you'd like and we'll reply. No form, no lawyer needed. If our answer doesn't satisfy you, you can raise the matter with the Personal Data Protection Authority in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date. We won't weaken it quietly. A change that matters will be flagged plainly at the top of this page.
